The Optanix Mobile app provides you with anytime, anywhere access to event management capabilities and network status details residing on your Optanix Platform. Whether you’re in an IT organization that uses the Optanix Platform to manage your network or Optanix maintains your network with its IT-Management-as-a-Service (IT MaaS), Optanix Mobile app will keep you fully apprised of the operational state of your network and critical services.
IT network and systems engineers use Optanix Mobile app to be notified of and manage incidents that are identified and validated by the Optanix Platform, and to quickly access system and device status details while on the go.
IT management uses Optanix Mobile app for visibility to issues that are impacting the business, and the support team efforts that are underway to resolve them.
To use Optanix Mobile app, you must have:
* Optanix Platform with Release 5.4 or higher
* Mobile access enabled in platform configuration. If necessary, contact your Optanix Platform system administrator to request this one-time setup.
* An existing user account on the platform
* Platform IP address and your user account credentials
* VPN app installed, open on your device and connected to your network when you are remote. Network access and account details are required to establish VPN connectivity. Optanix recommends the Cisco AnyConnect VPN app.
